One basketball star is giving back to his dad this Father’s Day. The Cleveland Cavalier’s Kyrie Irving gave his dad the ultimate Father’s Day gift, better than a tie or coupon book: a home renovation. Irving, who says his dad “gave up his dreams” for his kids, appeared on the online series My Houzz to upgrade his childhood home for his dad. Irving and his sister Asia modernized the home in West Orange, New Jersey to give back to their dad who “sacrificed a lot” and gave up his own dream to play basketball professionally to support the family. The siblings tore down several walls to create a more open concept, update the kitchen with white cabinets and stainless steel appliances, and brightened the decor in the dining room and living room. Asia also surprised the father-son duo with a new trophy room filled with memorabilia from each of their basketball careers.
